Cause – infestation with the Otodectes cynotis mites. Transmitted by direct contact with other infested animals.
Signs – ear rubbing, pigmentation of the pinnae.
Diagnosis – clinical signs, microscopy.
Treatment – ivermectin, selatmectin, imidaclopid plus moxidectin.
