In this module you will learn how to spot the signs of the condition, diagnose quickly and treat effectively.
Cause - corneal insult, bacteria, parasite, or secondary to keratitis or corneal ulceration.
Signs - miosis, anterior chamber flare, red eye.
Diagnosis - ophthalmoscopy, aqueous paracentesis.
Treatment - depends on cause: topical steroids or NSAIDs, topical atropine, fenbendazole.
Prognosis - guarded.
